Hi all. Yeah, I know it’s been awhile since my last update.
I have no idea what drift me away from this blogging world. But, I hope I am back to the habit.
Anyhow, I am reviewing an article about organ donation tonight. For backgrounder, Australia is opting out of organ donor. Almost 2000 people are waiting for organ transplant. But, FEWER than 200 donated their organ last year. In WA itself, we have only had two heart transplants in the early 2008.
Since the figure is so poor, we got this so-called Organ Donation Awareness Week. It’s an annual state-wide event btw. The event agenda is about raising ppl awareness on this human-interest issue.
They definitely got my attention. I am thinking about registering my organ actually. ha3. Yeah, sound so angelic, huh?. Oh yeah, like I am an angel….
The thing to highlight is the approval of your next kin. Because even you have agreed on donating yours, whereas your kin rejects it, that’s where the root is. And not to forget, your kin signature is one of the legal condition. So, it’s not the problem of you are in his blood, he is in you.
So, guys, what about you?. Will you let go you kidney?. Ehm… I’ll let them have my eyes if I am not nearsighted…
