Hi all. I am in Jakarta now after spending seven days in Spore.
Well, I got a bit of hospital tour in Spore. I went to SGH, Raffles, Mount E and Gleneagles. A bit overwhelmed for my shorty visit, hey. ^^ .
As I touched down in Spore in the afternoon, I straightly went to Raffles to confirm my dad’s surgery in the evening. According to my family, daddy’s eye surgery was not a big surgery. But, later on, the doctor said it was a big one. But, thanks God, everything went well and all the bubbles in my dad’s eye were 90% gone. 10% are still inside and what will happen to them are going to be reviewed in three months time. So, I reckon, dad will go back to spore in late jan or beginning of feb. I reckon I’ll go accompany him as I am going back to Perth in Feb.
Thanks to dr. Lee as he was so nice and helpful. He was so logical and patient in explaining everything as I am a bit late (not to mention, slow) in following up daddy’s retinal case.
Next is my visit to SGH with grams. Apparently (and surprisingly), my uncle and family doctor joined us on day 2. They wanted to accompany my grams to see her orthopedic because our family doctor predicted my grams’ case was quite serious. Dr. Yohanes from SOS Jakarta predicted there was cancer in her spine. But, thanks God, it was not cancer. But, still, grams needs to go back on may for a regular check up. No worries, I’ll be free by then… winter hols. hehe
At the next day, we went to Mt. E as our colleague got a slip disk in her back. The operation was quite long. It was a three hours operation. But, she went through it pretty well. Two days after operation, she managed to walk and take a shower. Pretty estactics as it was a backbone operation. Wish you a speedy recovery, Oma Kim. ^^
After Raffles, SGH and Mt. E, now its the turn for GlenE. We met my grams cardio specialist. It was just another routine. Nothing special. Glad that everything went well. and the most important is I was very glad because I didn’t have to be on a long queue like in SGH. Goodness.. I hate queing. ^^
Overall, I was quite a short hectic visit. But, I am glad that everything went pretty well. Nothing serious anyway. Well…. It’s not 12.22 am. Still feel so tired. hehe.. Okay fellas. See you then ^^
